Hurrican Harvey
Hurrican Harvey devastated homes in Houston, Texas in 2017. SERVPRO of Sorrento Valley/UTC was proud to dispatch a storm team to assist in the storm damage. When outside water floods into a home it is considered category 3 water. This means the water is extremely dirty and could pose health hazards. All porous materials the water touches such as drywall and insulation needs to be removed. This home required a standard 2' flood cut everywhere the water reached throughout the home. There were also structural repairs done outside of the home from the wind and water damage. Many homes were damaged during this flood and we were happy to assist.
